These charcoal-based incense sticks are hand-dipped in York, Pennsylvania. Charcoal incense sticks are cleaner burning than wooden sticks and give a truer scent on burning. Charcoal sticks also create less smoke than wooden punk sticks. Charcoal incense sticks produce the most delicate fragrances by releasing only the essence of each perfect scent. The fragrance is generally cleaner and truer, since the medium has already been burned once.
Packaging
Each package contains 10 sticks that measure 11” long with a burn time of approximately 30-45 minutes. Depending on room size, scent longevity lasts between 2-4 hours.
How-to
Light the end of the incense at a slight angle with a lighter or match, and allow the flame to burn for approximately 10-15 seconds. Blow on the flame to extinguish. The incense should produce a glowing red ember and a tendril of smoke, and will continue to burn on its own. Be sure to place the non-flammable incense holder on a level, heat-resistant surface where the ash and embers are caught safely. Always burn incense in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable materials, and never leave incense burning unattended or in near children, pets, or a draft.
